Nelly Tangua au micro de Chérubin Dorcil
The humanitarian crisis in the eastern DR Congo is reaching new proportions with over 17,000 displaced persons within a small area near the fighting, and many wounded, according to the local Red Cross. Cherubin Dorcil discussed the situation with Nelly Tangua, spokesperson for the Red Cross in the DRC. She says they are present almost everywhere, but it is sometimes difficult to access the frontline and assist the victims. The red cross, she adds, has helped both civilians and soliders on both sides of the conflict.
